The Inspiration for Long Island Waves of Hope

Long Island Waves of Hope was founded by Erin Gallagher with the unwavering support of her husband, Jonathan Goll. After navigating an eight-year journey through infertility—marked by both heartbreak and resilience—Erin and Jonathan are now the proud parents of their two "rainbow babies," Juliet and Dylan.
Throughout their own experience, Erin and Jonathan often felt the isolation that comes when those around you cannot fully grasp the weight of multiple losses or the complexities of fertility treatments. Recognizing a profound need for community, they established Long Island Waves of Hope to ensure no one has to walk this path alone.
Their mission is to provide a safe, compassionate space for women at every stage of the journey—whether you are just beginning, currently expecting, balancing motherhood after loss, or navigating the process once more. Long Islands Waves of Hope offers a supportive environment to connect, share stories, and build meaningful relationships, both online and through local meet-ups.
Looking ahead Erin and Jonathan are also excited to announce their upcoming podcast, "The First Rule of IVF Club", launching this Fall! In it, they will candidly share their personal experiences and discuss how they nurtured their relationship while navigating the challenges of fertility treatments.

With a career built on steering massive, high-stakes technical programs, Jonathan brings a unique blend of strategic precision and deep operational expertise to Long Island Waves of Hope. By day, he manages large-scale, multi-million-dollar cybersecurity and AI initiatives, ensuring complex systems run seamlessly and securely.

At Waves of Hope, Jonathan translates those heavy-hitting organizational skills into building a supportive, seamless community. He oversees our day-to-day operations, working hand-in-hand with our various sub-group leads to ensure every arm of our organization has what it needs to thrive. Fueled by an MBA and soon a PMP, Jonathan also spearheads our business development and brand partnerships—connecting Waves of Hope with aligned organizations to expand our reach and resources. He is dedicated to ensuring our infrastructure is as strong as our community’s spirit, making sure no one on Long Island has to navigate their journey alone.
